More often than necessary developers get lost in the details of what they are building. Actual user feedback can be helpful to get new ideas and make your product even better, but that might just lead to more beautiful details to get lost in.  

We tend to act like someone who owns a hot dog stand and experiments with way to many exotic sauces, because one customer said "how about a super sweet sauce?" and another one suggested spicy salsa. 

But this is less about delicious street food and rather about finding the essential part of whatever you are building, making sure that it runs perfectly and only then building on top of it.
